The installation part is much better, trust me guys! You have both files on the desktop and that is exactly correct! We have to get into the roaming folder, you may know how to do that, but if not, let me tell you how! At first, open the Windows Search Bar and then type in %appdata%, with that, you will be able to open it and the simply go to the Minecraft folder. Once you are there, please scrroll down to mods folder, then go to the desktop. Right click on the Journey Map and copy, then paste it into the mods folder.
And now the last part! We have to install the Forge and that is not that hard as you might think. Just go to the desktop and double click on the file, then agree with everything and hit install. Give it a couple of seconds and then check the versions folder if you can find a Forge 1.21.1 file in there. If yes, you did everything the good way and you can continue!
